A laundry & powder room renovation fit for any family

Home to a large family, the brief for this laundry in Brighton was to incorporate as much storage space as possible. Our in-house Interior Designer, Jeyda has created a galley style laundry with ample storage without having to compromise on design. Jeyda says ‘My favourite part is the galley style layout. This space is used everyday, so functionality is key. This design ensures practicality and creates a light, bright and inviting space – which makes doing your laundry fun!’.

The M.J. Harris Joinery team of specialists in laundry renovations built a custom-made, floor-to-ceiling joinery with overhead long-term cabinetry, a heated drying cupboard, linen cupboard and broom cupboard. Also included is a pull-out hamper for dirty laundry and space for a sink to be tucked into the corner.

Jeyda was able to design this unique laundry to incorporate extensive storage without sacrificing bench space.‘I was so happy my clients were open to a pop of colour. Instead of sticking with the safer option of white, they were willing to go with the selection of Green Slate’.

With a fitted custom aluminium window and a green slate finish, this laundry takes on a new light.
