Maximising style in minimal space

We’ve returned to Mona Place for a bathroom renovation in a home where we previously updated the kitchen in 2020. With our knowledge of the compact layout and a focus on detail, we successfully incorporated both a bathroom and laundry into this limited space.

One of the key elements of the renovation was the use of custom joinery. Our team worked to ensure that the joinery within this space matched the colour and profile of the kitchen, as well as the use of natural timber oak veneer shelves to tie the whole house together.

The introduction of brushed gunmetal tapware adds contrast to the space and a touch of sophistication. The use of porcelain tiles that imitate the look of traditional Moroccan handmade terracotta tiles not only add a touch of warmth and texture to the space but are durable and easy to maintain. The terracotta look tiles were a perfect finishing touch, giving the bathroom and laundry a unique and inviting feel, despite its small size.

Together, our team designed and built a functional and stylish hybrid space. The use of custom joinery, brushed gunmetal tapware, and terracotta look tiles all contributed to a cohesive and inviting space that connected the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry to create a harmonious whole. Despite the limited space, the team was able to find a balance between bathroom and laundry functionality and create a beautiful and functional room.
