This Rosanna refurb was completed by our team to modify a part of the clients’ home into two bathroom’s that suits our clients’ needs. The large outdated combined bathroom and walk in closet was transformed into a separate practical bathroom and ensuite. A lot of attention was needed to the layout in order to fit into the existing footprint, a full bathroom, which included a walk in shower, bath, toilet and vanity, as well as an ensuite with a shower, small vanity and toilet. From our initial meeting, the client mentioned that she loved texture and wanted the bathroom and ensuite to reflect this. We achieved this through our choice of tiling using the National Tiles Whoosh White Tiles. This added subtle texture to most walls. We then added the National Tiles Japanese Impressions Denim on one of the walls to create a wow factor.
We also added more texture with the joinery by selecting Polytec Prime Oack Woodmatt in the Ascot Profile. This vanity colour adds lots of character with its detailed grain. The Meir champagne tapware was selected to bring warmth to the space, tying beautifully into the warm tones of the Prime Oak. For lighting around the vanity, we opted for Lights Lights Lights’ Lucciola Wall Lights, which added a soft elegant touch to the space. The rounded corners on the custom shaving cabinet were designed to tie into the softness of the round lights. The decorative cornices were also a special touch to the bathroom and ensuite. Not only do they add texture to the space, but they tie into the rest of the house, which has different feature cornices in each space.
